Event in short
The third Project Meeting of CAPACities project in Milan will present results of the Alpine Towns Survey and analyse progress made in identifying concrete instruments to improve the role of small towns. The event is organized by the Lead Partner (Lombardy Region).
Event description
The CAPACities project (start date October 2008) is going through a crucial phase towards the achievement of its goal to promote the potential of Alpine Space Small Local Urban Centres through an integrated and transnational approach by innovative urban policies & actions, and by creating alliances with the neighbouring MEGAs and stronger territories. The first two Project Meetings (Ljubljana, 10.03.2009 and Poschiavo, 23. and 24.07.2009) were aimed at developing partners’ discussion on the Alpine Town Survey and at starting activities concerning the Operational Tools and the Pilot Actions.
The 3rd Project Meeting in Milan will present results of the Alpine Towns Survey and analyse progress made in identifying concrete instruments to improve the role of small towns. The meeting will also be an occasion for partners to coordinate ongoing pilot actions and accompanying communication activities. Several experts from Politecnico di Milano and other relevant institutions will participate in the event to enrich and focus the discussion.
